OBJECTIVE
Adaptive methods for partial differential equations (PDEs) are the most
effective computational approach for a large class of PDEs that arise
in many important applications in science and engineering. This area
has grown steadily during the past two decades. This workshop will bring
together leading researchers from around the world to address both theoretical
and computational aspects of adaptive methods for PDEs and to foster
stronger collaboration between mathematicians, engineers and scientists.

REGISTRATION
Registration is no longer available online. Walk in registratioin is
permitted with limited number of seats for the banquet, available on
a first come first serve basis.
The conference registration fee is $100 CDN (about $65 USD) for senior
researchers/faculty and $50 CDN (about $32.50 USD) for students/postdoctoral
fellows. This fee includes admission to the workshop banquet.
CALL FOR PAPERS
The program will consist of invited 45 minutes lectures, and contributed
talk of 30 minutes each. A one-page abstract, typed in English, related
to the topics of the conference is invited by 30 April 2002. The abstract
should include: names(s) and affiliation(s) of author(s), as well as
the address, e-mail address, phone and fax numbers of the contact person.
Authors are kindly requested to submit their abstracts via e-mail in
plain LaTeX (or plain AMS Tex) to:
