The aim of the workshop is to provide a forum for discussion around technology integration in post-secondary mathematics instruction, with a particular focus on the instruction of mathematics majors. It is mainly aimed at mathematicians working in departments of mathematics, including graduate students who are teaching undergraduate courses. Mathematics educators from other departments and institutions are invited to attend and enrich the discussions.

The workshop will also include the reporting of the results of a national online survey (Spring 2009) which focused on the integration of Computer Algebra Systems (CAS) in Canadian post-secondary mathematics instruction.

Note that a similar workshop is also offered in French at the Centre de recherches mathématique (CRM) in Montreal on Friday October 1st, 2010: http://www.crm.umontreal.ca/cal/fr/mois201010.html
