Overview
Theory Canada Conferences were started in 2005 with the aim of bringing theoretical
physicists from all over Canada to exchange ideas and begin new collaborations.
Theoretical physics represents frontier research in human knowledge, finding
answers to questions about natural phenomena. These might range from questions
about the origins of our universe to explanation of complex phenomena in everyday
life. The annual conference series covers broad themes in theoretical physics
  including
  (i) Relativity, Gravitation and Cosmology
  (ii) Particles and Fields
  (iii) Strings and Quantum Gravity
  (iv) Condensed Matter theory
  (v) Quantum Information
  (vi) Mathematical Physics
