  Nato Advanced Studies Institute on
Program on Mathematics of Long Range Aperiodic Order

        August 21 - September 1, 1995
The Fields Institute, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
This is a workshop designed to survey and bring together the diverse mathematical
approaches to the subject of long range aperiodic order. Lectures will cover
gometric, arithmetic, algebraic, analytic, topological, combinatorial, stochastic,
and physical aspects of the suject including quasicrystals, non-crystallographic
symmetry, space filling tilings, diffraction and Fourier analysis, the frontier
between order and disorder, automatic sequences, minimal surfaces and random
    walks.
