        ALGEBRAIC MODEL THEORY PROGRAM
Workshop on Model Theory of Analytic Functions

        March 17-21, 1997
This workshop will concentrate on applications of model theory to real analytic
geometry. There will be survey talks on the relevant areas of model theory
and real analytic geometry, as well as talks on current developments. The
topics covered will include: o-minimality, model theory and exponentiation,
logarithmic-exponential series, subanalytic geometry, Pfaffian geometry, analogs
in rigid analytic geometry and new o-minimal expansions of the reals. This
workshop is part of the program on Algebraic Model Theory held during 1996-97
    at The Fields Institute.
