Embedding DM Stacks into GIT Quotient Stacks of Linear Representations

Abstract:
Classically, for an invertible sheaf over a scheme, its amplitude can be characterized by its ability to furnish an embedding to a projective space. More generally, for a locally free sheaf over a Deligne-Mumford stack, we find conditions on the sheaf that are sufficient to furnish an embedding of the stack into a geometric invariant theory quotient stack of a linear representation of a general linear group.
