I will present some recent results (and their applications) related to the asymptotic behaviour of the Kobayashi pseudometric on almost complex manifolds. More preciseily, I'll focus on sharp estimates of this pseudometric near the boundary of J-strictly pseudoconvex domains in real dimension four.
