Abstract:
In this talk, I aim to give a flavour of the representation theory of (cyclotomic) Hecke algebras, and how recent categorification results have given us new tools and perspectives on these classical objects. I will discuss quiver Hecke algebras, Webster's diagrammatic Cherednik algebras, and several results pertaining to graded decomposition numbers for these algebras, obtained jointly with Chris Bowman.
