Bio: Mona Nouroozifar brings over a decade of experience working as an educator and as an academic administrator in the post-secondary sector. In her current capacity as the Associate Dean of Mathematics, Research Skills and Analysis, she oversees a complex portfolio at Canada’s largest community College-Humber College where she is responsible for the centralized delivery of mathematics across the institution ranging from certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, honours degrees and post graduate certificates. She holds a bachelor of Industrial Engineering, a Masters of Business Administration and she is currently pursuing her PhD with a particular focus on students’ academic self-concept, motivation and retention.
