I will explain the construction of the action (as automorphisms) of the rank two Artin group of type A2, B2, G2 on the adjoint DAHA of twist type 1, 2, 3, respectively. These actions descend to the canonical congruence group actions that arise from topological considerations. I will also show that any DAHA admits an action of a finite index subgroup of the Artin group of type A2, which in turn descends to an outer action of a congruence subgroup of SL(2,Z) or PSL(2,Z).
