Modern Methods in Representation Theory
Description
Please see the official page for this event here: https://representationtheory.ca/mmrt2026/ .
MMRT 2026 focuses on modern categorical and diagrammatic methods in representation theory, with particular emphasis on monoidal categories, categorification, and their applications to Lie algebras, quantum groups, and quantum symmetric pairs. The conference aims to bring together leading researchers and early-career mathematicians to exchange new techniques, highlight emerging connections with topology and quantum mathematics, and foster interaction across complementary modern approaches.
