Abstract:
We consider three-dimensional Klein–Gordon equations with an external potential and a cubic nonlinearity. We assume the associated linear operator admits multiple internal modes, so the unperturbed linear dynamics has several time-periodic bound states. Using a normal form framework together with some new observations, we derive the sharp decay rate for the full solution and identify distinct decay rates for different modes.
