Equivariant classes of $GL$-orbits in $(\mathbb{P}^r)^n$

Abstract:
We motivate equivariant cohomology with an example and discuss our results regarding equivariant classes of $GL$-orbits in $(\mathbb{P}^r)^n$. The class of an orbit will be determined by the combinatorics of the corresponding ordered point configuration in $\mathbb{P}^r$, and we have an explicit formula. If time permits, we will discuss motivation from small quantum cohomology. This talk is based on the arXiv preprint 1805.08181.
