Frobenius splitting and lexicographic Groebner degeneration

Abstract:
In 2009, Knuston studied a particular kind of Frobenius splitting and showed that it descends to degenerations obtained in a manner compatible with the splitting. We will discuss a partial converse. This talk is based on work in progress with Emanuela De Negri, Elisa Gorla, Jenna Rajchgot, Lisa Seccia, and Mayada Shahada.
