We introduce the notion of a generalized almost-Kähler-Ricci soliton on an almost Kähler manifold; if the manifold is Kähler, this reduces to the notion of a Kähler-Ricci soliton. We pay particular attention to the case of symplectic Fano manifolds. This is joint work with Giuseppe Barbaro and Mehdi Lejmi.
