In joint work with Matt Larson, we prove the Kähler package for certain rings which resemble the cohomology rings of projectivizations of globally generated vector bundles over toric varieties. This proves new cases of the standard conjectures of Hodge type. In this talk, I will give an introduction to the Kähler package, explain the context behind our result and also some of our methods, which are combinatorial.
