Abstract:
The final lecture will focus on the homological mirror symmetry conjecture, using a simple example (the cylinder) to present several flavors of the Fukaya category and their interpretation under mirror symmetry. A second example, the pair of pants, will be used to illustrate how mirror symmetry is now expected to work for much more general classes of spaces.
