New facts and tools concerning minimal Lagrangian submanifolds

Abstract:
I will present recent work, joint with Jason Lotay (UCL), on the subject of minimal Lagrangian submanifolds in Kaehler geometry. Analogous results may hold in other geometric settings, including $G_2$. I will try to explain this. Some parts of the talk will be based on the preprint arXiv:1704.08226.
