Abstract:
In this tutorial, we will focus on two specific matrix models, the Kontsevich model and the Grosse-Wulkenhaar model (which naturally come from noncommutative quantum field theories). We recall some definitions from Raimar Wulkenhaar's Mini-course and derive in more details Dyson-Schwinger equations for the correlation functions. For this, we will need the Ward identity, which will also be derived. If time remains, we will have a look into recursive algebraic relations between correlation functions with higher boundary length. These recursive algebraic relations are completely different in both models.
The tutorial is supported by some exercise materials.
