Vinogradov's mean value theorem in higher dimensions

Abstract:
We aim to survey the development of extensions of Vinogradov's mean value theorem to various multidimensional translation-invariant systems. In particular, we'll mention results stemming from efficient congruencing and decoupling theory, and we'll highlight some of the applications.
