We prove the well-posedness of the water-waves equations in finite depth. We first reduce the equations to a system of two equations on Rd involving a Dirichlet-Neumann operator. We give tame estimates on this DN operator and compute an explicit expression of its shape derivative. This allows us to give a simple expression of the linearized equations and to conclude by a Nash-Moser iterative scheme.
