Abstract:
The notion of intrinsic group for Kac algebras was introduced by Schwartz and further studied by De Canniere. In general, for locally compact quantum groups, several equivalent characterisations of it were studied by Kalantar and Neufang. Double crossed product construction for locally compact quantum groups is one of the important ways to produce new examples of locally compact quantum groups starting from a matched pair of locally compact quantum groups. In this talk we shall discuss an explicit computation of intrinsic groups for double crossed products in terms of in terms of the intrinsic groups of their respective quantum groups with some examples. This is a joint work in progress with Matthias Neufang.
