Abstract:
In this talk, I will present a result on the asymptotic behavior of arbitrary solutions of a fractional Allen-Cahn equation, possibly with a forcing term, as the usual small parameter goes to zero. In the limit solutions of such equations converge to stationary nonlocal minimal surfaces in case of no forcing, and to surfaces of prescribed fractional mean curvature in the perturbed case. Regularity issues for stationary nonlocal minimal surfaces will be discussed also.
